Tap tap tap

Here is another one of my characters: Belto Bell.
No one knows what kinda creature he is. But he lives in the forest, while making jokes with people who enters there. " sometimes he goes to the city himself to make pranks beacuse of boredom " He is also dressed in black and is always wearing bells.

One day when he was relaxing in the forest, while cutting of the apple peel from an apple he found "with a bowl of other fruits", he starts to hear something.

"tap,tap,tap,tap,tap"

He looks around, but can´t se anything so he stars cutting the appel again.

"tap,tap,tap,tap,tap"

He looks around again, beginning to get paranoid. He still doesn´t se anything and tries to countine cutting the apple.

"tap,tap,tap,tap,tap"

Alright! Who is making the Tap -sound!?! Says Belto, who is now standing up, defending with his knight in his hand. He looks for a third time around and yet again he sees nothing. He sits down again, cutting his apple to hear that the tap sound is gonne.

Finally! I thought I went insane there for a while. Says Belto and stars eating his apple.

After finsihing his apple, he decided to take another fruit. The only problem is, nothing was there.

Wha!?! Where are my fruits? says Belto and takes the empty bowl to inspect it a little more. Could it have been evil spirits that have stolen his fruits or did he ate them all but got amnesia while eating it? He will never know.

But as you can see, it´s neither evil spirits or him who eats them
